PRODUCT WARRANTY

1. COVERAGE OF THE WARRANTY

1.1 Warranty coverage: To complain about possible defects in a product covered by the warranty, the original purchase invoice must be attached. Furthermore, DORMITAN will request photos, videos, or other graphic supports that allow the study of the product. Therefore, DORMITAN undertakes to:
• Repair or replace any of the damaged parts of the product free of charge, provided they are manufacturing defects.
• The decision to repair or replace defective products will be made by DORMITAN professionals and taking into account the nature of each product.
1.2 Not included in our warranty:
• Defects due to improper use, poor storage, dirt, use of force, water or fire damage, excessive loads, humidity or stains on the mattress, use of chemical products, or repairs carried out by third parties.
• Use of the mattress without a suitable base, deformed or in poor condition.
• Holes, stains on the fabric, loose threads, or other similar imperfections, that are not claimed and documented at the time of delivery, or within 48 hours of receipt.
• Tolerances regarding length, width, and thickness measurements that will admit variations of +/- 2 cm. We will not accept returns for slight measurement variations.
• From the beginning of the use of the mattress, a normal settling of the internal layers takes place, which ranges between + 0 / -3 (UNE-EN 1334: 1996 standard). This totally normal circumstance does not give the right to any reparation or compensation.
1.3 Rules of use:
• Latex, memory foam, HR or foam mattresses are liable to be folded, without this in any way impairing their qualities, characteristics or benefits. Spring mattresses cannot be folded.
Pocket spring mattresses can only rest on upholstered bases and canapés with a base (never in bed bases).
• Do not jump or stand on the mattress.
• Bending the corners of the mattress can be harmful to mattresses that are not susceptible to rolling.
• A base in poor condition will damage your mattress.
• It is advisable to keep the mattress clean and protected from moisture and external agents with a cover.
• It is important and recommended to use a base, bed base or couch from the same house and in the same size as the mattress.
• It is convenient to change the position of the mattress once a month (in those mattresses that can be done).

2. SPECIFICATIONS OF RESTING SYSTEMS

All the mattresses, bed bases, upholstered bases and other rest products that you have available in DORMITAN can have a tolerance of +/- 2 cm due to the materials with which they are made. This tolerance can be more than 2cm or less than 2cm and can be given both in width, length and thickness. A loss of 2cm in the height of the mattress is considered to be within normality, as well as a mark remaining after rest. The mattresses can also have a loss of firmness in their use of 20% of the initial values. In these cases no returns will be accepted.
The mattresses of exact measurements will have a tolerance in width and length of +/- 3cm.
Memory foam mattresses can be used both with a slatted bed base and an upholstered base. If other types of supports are used, such as bathtubs, tatami mats, or any other, the ventilation of the same must be taken care of, since on these surfaces the correct aeration of the mattress is prevented and moisture stains may appear that will not be covered by the warranty.
The guarantee of our mattresses will be void if the support used is a box spring as it is not compatible with our products.
Pocket / bagged spring mattresses can only be arranged on upholstered bases or upholstered base canapes. The warranty is void if these types of bases are not used. The folding canapés will only perform their opening function with the mattress placed on top.
Do not try to lower the couch cover without first installing the mattress as it will not work and could break the hydraulic system.
The articulated bed bases must be in a flat position to activate the articulation system, and with the mattress and the sleeper lying down. Do not attempt to operate the linkage mechanism without following the instructions given, as irreparable damage could occur. On the website we indicate which mattresses are appropriate to articulate and which mattresses are not.
